Why The Courtyard

Hidden.
Flexible.
Alive.

Below street level = built-in atmosphere

Sunken into the city, the space creates a natural bowl — sound stays in, energy builds up. It doesn't feel like a venue. It feels like a stage.

Designed for creative programming

Open concrete canvas. 20,000 sq ft. Tiered seating, palm canopy, architecture that frames every event — it was made for this.

Already attracting culture and community

Day parties, lowrider shows, sonic markets, brand activations — The Courtyard is where DTLA's creative scene keeps landing.

Long-Term Opportunities

Looking for
something more
permanent?

We're selectively opening opportunities for brands and concepts to become part of The Courtyard — not just visitors to it.

We're building something here

The Courtyard isn't just an event venue — it's becoming a cultural address in Downtown LA. We're curating who's part of that story long-term.

Who we're looking for

Brands, concepts, and operators that align with the energy of The Courtyard. If you're building something that belongs here, we want to hear from you.

How it works

Reach out with your concept and vision. We'll explore what a long-term partnership could look like — on both our terms.

Formats Welcome

The Courtyard sits below street level on 334 S Main Street in the heart of Downtown Los Angeles — tucked between high-rises and history, hidden from the passing city above it.

That position is everything. When you're below the street, you're inside something. The noise of the city stays up there. The energy you build stays down here.

At 20,000 square feet, it's one of the largest open-air event canvases in DTLA. Lined with towering date palms, tiered concrete seating, and architecture that holds the space like a natural amphitheater — it was designed to host.

We're not a venue. We're a platform. The Courtyard is being reactivated by the community that already calls it home — curators, collectives, brands, and creatives who want a space that earns the energy they bring to it.

"Hidden doesn't mean hard to find. It means worth finding."

What started as underutilized space has become one of the most talked-about event locations in LA — because the people who've used it showed others what was possible.

Day parties that fill the courtyard floor. Lowrider shows that turn the plaza into a rolling gallery. Sonic markets where DJs play and vendors build culture side by side.

This is what The Courtyard is for. Come build something here.
